Billykaren Beaufort

Billykaren Beaufort, BK to most people, is an independent recording artist and songwriter. He doesn't stick to one genre. His releases move between country ballads, pop, punk-leaning rock, and stripped-down singer-songwriter tracks, often back to back. He writes original songs about relationships, places he knows, and what's happening in the news, including recent singles like "(I Was) Right Behind You." He also records his own takes on songs he loves, released as "BK's Version." They're new readings rather than copies: a Guy Version that flips the point of view, an Atomic Punk Version, a Country Boy Version. A familiar song comes out sounding like one of his. That approach has grown into a catalog of more than 600 releases, available across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, TIDAL, YouTube, and many other streaming services worldwide. BK releases his music through BKAP LLC, which is also home to Flint Omen, and he writes some of the songs Flint Omen performs. When he isn't recording, he's usually on a road trip somewhere in the US or abroad, or at home with his two cats and a dog.
